On Sunday, February 16, 2020, the Jamin Fund hosted a fun filled, complementary dinner to properly thank those who supported the Jamin Fund over the past year. This family friendly gathering of over 50 people was held in the beautiful Shaffer Room at the Ken-Caryl Ranch House in Littleton, Colorado.
It was a great way to reconnect with friends and family over delicious food and drink. Authentic German cuisine was served, including Artisan Beer Brats and Sauerkraut, German Meatballs with Noodles in Mushroom Gravy, German Potato Salad, Braised Red Cabbage, German Green Beans, and Bavarian Soft Pretzels with Mustard. There was something for everyone - - even hot dogs for the kids, and apple strudel for dessert.
After dinner, Charlie Wilson and Ralph Spencer announced to the group a recent roll-out of the new Jamin Fund website, as well as the new LoveToLearnFund.org, which is a registered outreach of the Jamin Fund and is set up to further the Jamin Fund mission. A beautiful "Love-to-Learn" logo was also created. See photo in the gallery below.
Monte Murphy, D'Evelyn Jr./Sr. High School American History Teacher and Drama Instructor, was the featured guest speaker. Additionally, Marc Gagnon, the first recipient of the Life Long Learner Scholarship in 2019, attended and spoke at the event.
The Jamin Fund gang would like to make this ‘Thank You’ Dinner an annual affair to thank everyone for their continued support of the Jamin Fund.
