Given through Jamin Fund Colorado:
School Connect, Uganda - Funding was provided to drill and install a water system for the Shalom Primary School in Kamuli, Uganda. With support from The Jamin Fund, School Connect Uganda implemented The Kasana Primary School Water and Sanitation Project in 2026 to address a basic but urgent challenge: children and staff needed reliable access to safe water, adequate sanitation and practical hygiene support. The project delivered the core WASH infrastructure and supporting activities: a school borehole, improved sanitation facilities, handwashing points, hygiene education/WASH-club activities, menstrual-hygiene skills support and community participation. These outputs directly respond to the needs identified in the proposal, which noted unreliable water supplies, inadequate sanitation and the particular challenges faced by girls. This system now provides clean, safe water for more than 600 children, plus provides an impact that will be felt every single day in their health, learning, and overall well-being. $7,000 Grant ($5,000 covering borehole drilling, and $2,000 for pit latrine construction).
