Excellence in Education Award to D’Evelyn Junior/Senior High School Digital Teacher Librarian and Technology Coordinator Lisa Bell.  $3,000 Grant

Jamin B Wilson Life-Long Learner Memorial Scholarship given to D’Evelyn Junior/Senior High School senior student Anugraha Benny.  $1,000 Scholarship


Given through the Community Foundation of Central Blue Ridge:   

Answer Nepal - Support for law & engineering students in Nepal. $8,000 Grant

Boys & Girls Club of Waynesboro, Staunton & Augusta - The Boys & Girls Club has had great success with their after school and summer camp programs. Their attendees, typically elementary and middle school-age children, are generally at-risk students who are susceptible to high degrees of learning loss (academic back slide). $7,500 Grant 

GRASP (Great Aspirations), does great work in the Staunton, VA region to help high school students apply for college and find scholarships for tuition.  $5,500 Grant

Valley Alliance for Education has amassed a tremendous record of successes in making grants to classroom teachers in need of resources to develop new and innovative programs for students. $6,000 Grant

On the Road Collaborative helps empower youth by providing equal access to educational opportunities and hands-on career experiences.  These opportunities and experiences include one-on-one and group tutoring, designated homework hours, and Career Enrichment Courses.  $4,250 Grant

Shenandoah Valley Governor’s School.  $3,118 Grant


Given through Jamin Fund Colorado:

The Eileen Finkel Innovative Teacher Awards is Education Foundation of the Summit’s largest program, helping teachers bring creative ideas to life for their students. The program is in its 14th year.  $1,490 Grant

Education Foundation of the Summit supports teachers’ innovative ideas for classrooms and also provides scholarships to high school students. It is based in Summit County, Colorado.  $3,500 Grant
