A Worthy Cause

The Jamin Fund is dedicated to funding educational and leadership initiatives throughout the world. As the fund is administered by The Community Foundation of Central Blue Ridge, a 501(c)(3) organization, all contributions are fully tax-deductible.

The Jamin Fund bestows an annual award for leadership at Spangdahlem Air Base in Germany to acknowledge airmen and officers for outstanding quarterly and yearly performance. The fund also awards an annual scholarship to D'Evelyn High School students demonstrating an extraordinary commitment to inspiring belief in the importance of education and learning, encouraging good citizenship and personal responsibility, and fostering high standards of achievement in learning among young people.

Additionally, The Jamin Fund has partnered with Free the Children, an organization that inspires young people to develop as socially conscious global citizens and become agents of change for their peers around the world through domestic empowerment programs and leadership training. The fund has also worked with Urban Peak to feed Denver's homeless youth.

Jamin's Vision

The Jamin Fund is currently offering an opportunity to own a beautiful Giclee Print of "Jamin's Vision". The original oil painting from which these prints are made is an identical representation of the photo which Jamin personally took. It was used at the Denver Memorial Service.

The mountain scene had captivated J.B. not long before his death, when he was traveling in Switzerland. He took the photo while showing his high school friends, Chip Meister and Jeff Burch around Europe. This captivating mountain scene is by artist Renee Palmer-Jones who entitled the original oil painting, "Jamin's Vision". Viewing the painting, "Jamin's Vision", it seems to speak of lofty ideals, peaceful serenity and dreams of grandeur.

Renee has arranged to have the highest quality Giclee Prints made from her beautiful original painting. Giclee's are available on canvas or matte paper, depending on size. All prints will be shipped unframed. Following, is the suggested donation to The Jamin Fund for each size of print:

  • 8 X 10 $35 (matte paper)
  • 11 X 14 $60 (matte paper)
  • 12 X 18 $150 (canvas)
  • 16 X 24 $225 (canvas)
  • 24 X 36 $595 (canvas)
